As part of the greater Washington DC area, we enjoy world-class communities with scenic bike & hiking trails, free museums, an extensive Metro system, many parks, nature centers, shopping and so much more. Raising two (now grown) sons here, I got to know the parks, trails, museums, etc. quite well. One of my sons now treats his own children to the same lucky amenities.
